Purpose

The Project Manager will support the PMO (Project Management Office) in Clayton which serves strategic projects identified by EPMO (Executive Project Management Office). The Project Manager will l ead critical change initiatives; ensuring initiatives are positioned for success through application of critical project management skills. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of assigned projects ensuring consistency with appropriate strategy, commitments, and goals.

  • Provide leadership in the planning, documentation, and ongoing execution of projects, as assigned

  • Create and maintain a consistent approach to project management and services; act as a change agent for continuous improvement through enhanced methodologies

  • Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders

  • Develop full-scale project plans and schedule project timelines

  • Estimate and coordinate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals; assume administrative role for onsite or virtual meetings, calls, and webinars between internal and external participants; may manage project budgets

  • Provide direction and support to project teams; coach and mentor team members on methodology and general project management techniques

  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion

  • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools; monitor and report on progress of projects to key stakeholders

  • Proactively manage changes in project scope and devise contingency plans to ensure the achievement of project outputs

  • Ensure that the Company's values and related management policies, procedures, and practices are strongly supported and implemented consistently when executing assigned projects

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements Minimum Job Requirements Minimum of 5 years experience required: This is a senior-level management position for an individual with significant experience who brings a higher level of knowledge, skills and abilities to the job

PMP certification and or will pursue obtaining PMP certification Four-year degree required

Preferred Job Requirements 6-10 years experience preferred: Project Management
