The Business Analyst will:

  • Create, update and review data flow diagrams/access policies to ensure all assets within the diagrams are being monitored and on-boarded in all applications.

  • Add, update, remove devices from monitoring tools.

  • Work with server/network teams to troubleshoot monitoring/polling issues. Informal business requirements may need to be documented based on meetings with application owners.

  • Attend in-person meetings/conference calls documenting meeting notes.

  • Have the ability to jump in to research issues and follow through until resolution.

  • Perform data analytics, data integrity checks, and general comparison.

  • Grant user permission to tools.


  • 1+ years of experience is required with monitoring tools such as: Solarwinds, BigBrother, AppDynamics, Splunk, Netcool, TripWire, MicroFocus or HP’s Network Automation (NA)/Service Automation (SA)/Operations Orchestration (OO)

  • Must be proficient with the Microsoft suite of products

  • Familiarity with opening/updating ticketing systems such as: ServiceNow, Remedy, and JIRA

  • Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English (written & verbal)
