The main responsibilities of the Business Program Manager include collaboration with the Senior Operations Manager of Branch Services and all project managers assigned to Branch Services engagements, Program financial performance management, and acting as project steward. This role covers all projects considered to be Branch Services and will require some travel to WWT and customer sites.
This Transition Management role will report into the Denver, CO area, but can be based anywhere in the USA. Preference for Denver or St. Louis based candidates .
Excellent understanding of program / project financial management and cost control practices
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to implement change
Able to comprehend, analyze, and adhere to SOWs; review of project deliverables; support SLA's
Ongoing service improvement of internal and external processes to enhance program value
Maintain communication with internal and external executive sponsors and program stakeholders
Maintain communication with suppliers as appropriate in support of the program
Incremental business development that extends the program and/or identifies new business opportunities with the customer
Oversee Branch Services schedule, scope, and milestone performance
Manage major issue resolution and risk mitigation
Demonstrated negotiation and problem-solving skills
Manage cross functional issues within WWT service delivery departments.
Foster strong relationships within Branch Services management groups
Minimum of five years progressive responsibility with quantifiable results in contract negotiation, administration and/or management
Minimum seven years of Project Management experience. PMP and ITIL certification is preferred
Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred
Project Management knowledge in Technology practices
Prior multi-site roll-out program experience is preferred
Excellent understanding of the contract (SOW) process. Able to manage contract modifications, change orders, control the impact to a program, and take a lead position for negotiations on contract scope, cost and schedule
Good understanding of Supply Chain and equipment configuration (lab) processes
Ability to work independently and aggressively track to project timelines
Strong team skills
Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)
Must be able to travel in the US, and potentially internationally
