World Wide Technology, Inc. has an opportunity available for an Tactical Enterprise Architect to support our Professional Services Global Practice Organization. As an Enterprise Solutions Architect, your primary objective is to support Professional Services through maintaining a high level of technical expertise around every Technology Discipline, supporting delivery teams and engineers in the deployment of Complex Services, and serving as an Architect level resource as well as an escalation point for delivery engineers. You will also be responsible for customer presentations, technical collateral, and customer updates along every phase of the implementation.
Work as a Tactical Lead for Professional Services on projects requiring complex integrations across multiple technology Disciplines, providing leadership and owning the overall design as well as the engagement
Work directly with the Customer to understand Solution requirements, complexities and implementation strategies
Lead a team of SME's during the delivery of Complex Services Implementations
Must have the ability to understand the interdependencies of how various technology components integrate with one another
Understand the technology interplay between the various technology silos of Network, Security, Collaboration and Data Center
Must have experience with Complex Solution Designs and as well as understand specific Use Cases
Must have a good understanding of Consulting, Delivery Methodologies, & have a Tactical business focus
Must be able to seamlessly translate business drivers and needs to technical SME's as well as translate technical concepts to business stakeholders, project management and executive leaders
Must have a good understanding of Automation and the NetDevOps model
Must understand Reference Architectures around Data Center Designs, Active/Active Data Centers, Data Center Migrations, SDN Implementations, Cloud Integrations, Automation and Orchestration Strategies, Core LAN & WAN Designs, Voice Technologies, Security, and Data Center Technologies
Must have experience with Networking, Data Center, Security, and Collaboration technologies from an Enterprise Deployment perspective
Must have at least 10 years of experience designing, deploying, and implementing core Data Center Technologies in accordance with industry best practices
Must have Operational IT Experience leading large Enterprise Deployments
Must understand Reference Architectures of network control, network management protocols, and security protocols.
Experience with the deployment of SDN or SD-WAN technologies is required
Understand WAN/LAN and transport technologies (Ethernet, DMVPN, and MPLS).
Understanding of Configuration management of networking devices using automation tools (Cisco APIC-EM, Cisco Prime, ISE) and API scripting with Python
Must understand Public, Private, & Hybrid Cloud Strategies and be able to design solutions accordingly
Top Level Industry Certifications is a plus
Fluent understanding of AGILE and/or ITIL
Foundational understanding of and/or the ability to Lean Six Sigma Methodologies
Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with the ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to process & detail.
Able to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure ever evolving environment.
Strong customer facing & presentation skills as well as having a proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
